Using the Custom Apparel Tool at 1800Clothes.com, you pick the product and color that’s right
for you, add the text that says just what you want it to say, and choose from our library of over

text to the exact size and shape you’re looking for. Then sit back, relax, and wait for our team of
printer fairies to deliver you the clothes or accessories just the way you designed them.

Sounds good, right? Well, here’s something even better: at 1-800-Clothes, our mission is to

Caffeine Addict T Shirt from NachoMamaTees

Posted on/at 3:49 PM by Web Thing

Coffee anyone? I'm a coffee guy. I am NOT a mocha choco latte guy. I'm a pot a day, as long as it's brown and isn't too crunchy I'm drinkin' it kinda guy. I'm not a coffee snob. I get more enjoyment from a $1 coffee from the gas station than a $3 coffee from Starbucks. Not to bag on Starbucks, I'll drink that too.

I also don't have a "usual". Sometime black, sometimes cream, sometimes sugar, sometimes cream and sugar. (My grandfather once told me that if you learn to drink your coffee black, you'll always be able to get it they way you want) Iced, scorching hot, room temp ... yup, I'm drinking any and all of those too. I grew up in Rhode Island ... they come just short of putting iced coffee in you baby bottle. (No joke, Rhode Island has cornered the market on coffee flavored syrups. Two competing companies make it - it's like chocolate syrup for chocolate milk, except it is coffee flavored ... Here's one.

UPDATE; apparently Autocrat purchased Eclipse, so there really only one company making the coffee syrup.

So, um, yeah ... possibly a little bit of an addiction going on to the old caffeine. Last month I bought a case of Red Bull from the local warehouse store, but that was too much. I peaked at about 3 per day ... and I was a raging butthole.... so now I'm back to my first love, coffee.

Anyway, I thought this Caffeine Addict (apparently that's the chemical symbol formula for caffeine, and I'm taking their word for it) would be appropriate. Get yours for just $14.99 at NachoMamatees.com

Solar Power Turns Me On T Shirt ; GreenPlanet-Tees.com

Posted on/at 8:41 AM by Web Thing

So, since I came to live in Las Vegas, the whole idea of solar powered gadgets, cars, lights etc has really intrigued me. I even baked some bread in my makeshift solar oven this weekend with my 5 year old.
I honestly expected to find some type of t shirt with a solar panel and lights or an ipod charger embedded in it while I was hunting around for Solar T Shirts (and I'll keep looking) but this one caught my eye - mainly because solar power, does in fact, turn me on a little.

So while my daydreams of an off grid weekend cabin continue to be just daydreams, it's nice to know I could at least score this tee shirt for a meager $16.99 at GreenPlanet-Tees.com

Two Faves (the Red Sox & Dropkick Murphys) - One Shirt

Posted on/at 4:04 PM by Web Thing

Trolling around to see what kind of fun, interesting or innovative t-shirts may have been posted of late of my (currently 1st place AL East, with a 3 game lead over the Yankees) 2011 Red Sox, I stumbled across this baby.

While it may look like your typical pub t-shirt, it ain't. It actually includes a play on the lyrics from the Dropkick Murphys version of "Tessie".

"Tessie, 'Nuff Said McGreevy shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly..."
see all lyrics here

Which in and of itself is a play on an old Broadway tune of which I just don't care to go into the history.
Learn more about the song at Wikipedia.

Check out the Tessie Video on Youtube and see if you think this shirt is nearly as clever as I do.

Anyway this Tessie Tee by BostonSportsTees will run you $27 at Cafepress.

Herbie the Love Bug T-Shirt

Posted on/at 3:32 PM by Web Thing

So, who doesn't like Classic VW Bus? And who doesn't like Racing Stripes? And who doesn't love a vw bug with racing stripes that can't hold his Irish Whiskey?
Honestly, I don't remeber a whole lot about the original Love Bug movie ... and may never get around to viewing the remake with Lyndsey Lohan ... but i really do dig racing stripes, numbers and vw bugs .. so for me this shirt is a winner.

I also like that it would seemingly  appeal to those who have never heard of Herbie ... just a cool tee shirt if you ask me.

This particular little number is available at RedBubble (created by UrbanDog) Check it out here: Herbie Love Bug Shirt ... for $24.94.    (buy 4 items from  redbubble and get free shipping)

VW Bus T Shirt

Posted on/at 10:50 AM by Web Thing

So, I'm in the market for a used car ... a minivan to be exact ... but I soooo totally want to get my hands on an old VW Bus .... and eventually convert it to electric, because, let's face it ... I don't travel more than 30 miles a day anyway, and I'm super cheap.

My love affair with the bus was rekindled when I happened upon a little classic car meet and greet in the parking lot of the local grocery store. There she was, all in baby blue with a totally bright white interior ... and actually quite a bit smaller than I remember as a kid. (Much like the one in this drawing)

Anyway, while I could go on, who really wants to hear it? So now go grab this groovy VW Bus T-Shirt for $15.95 at BusDepot.com.

Recycle Tee Shirt - See I Buy This Stuff!

Posted on/at 1:01 PM by Web Thing

So, here is the recycle t shirt mentioned in a previous post that I got as part of my major ($50 + Shipping) 5 dollar tee shirt deal from 6dollarshirts.com.

Why sure, I make a commission if you click on the links all over this blog and buy something .... and by 2015 I may have even gotten you to buy enough stuff to cover this purchase - but I do have to shell out my own hard earned dough to actually get stuff into my wardrobe ... and I'm a cheap SOB. That why the buy 10 for 5 bucks each deal at 6dollarshirts.com is sooooo appealing.

And, if you are on my Christmas list .... yup, you are getting another t-shirt this year. Still plenty of time to get some for your Christmas gifts as well. Lots of designs and different colors of shirts to choose from. If you are like me, you'll put it in a big box ... but if your not, well, then you can probably ball up one of these babies into a small enough wad to cram it into a stocking.

45 RPM Record Adapter T Shirt from 6dollarshirts.com

Posted on/at 1:26 PM by Web Thing

So, I get asked quite a bit whether I actually purchase the tee shirts I promote or if I just talk about them. Here is your answer. While the truth is that I don't always purchase everything I like, (because, lets face it, who can afford to do that?) I am a sucker for a sweet deal.

I got this 45 rpm record adapter shirt from 6dollarshirts.com - along with 9 others. Why so many? Because ordering 10 makes your 6 dollar shirts a mere 5 bucks (plus shipping).

For those wondering about the sizes, this is an XL on a 5'8" 180lb male. The shirts are printed on different shirts - I think depending on the color you choose. ( That's right, you get to choose the color shirt you want decorated at 6 dollar shirts too) I do my best to give some more detail asbout the brands of shirts used in subsequent posts.

Why do I like this one so much? Mainly because anyone any younger than me has no clue what a record is, nevermind a 45 adapter. Some even think the shirt is vaguely dirty .... but I'm not seeing it.

Going Green and Saving Green at 6 Dollar Shirts

Posted on/at 11:21 AM by Web Thing

Happy Earth Day Y'all!

So, when I think of going green I also have a tendency to think about saving green (cash). While not everything in my tee shirt wardrobe is 100% locally grown or made, organic, fair trade or otherwise, I like to think big picture. If I can save a few bucks on my clothing and get stuff I like to wear, well, the extra dough can go into my savings for solar panels, rain collectors and electric bicycles.

That said, there are some groovy tee shirts over at 6dollarshirts.com that can remind you that earthday should be everyday.

For example: Go Green...
Ride your bike ... Recycle...
...or consider going (at least a litte) vegetarian.

And if that's not enough, or not your style. No sweat. They have tons of other non-crunchy-birkenstock-wearing selections to choose from.

Want to save more? Get 10 t shirts for $50. That's just 5 bucks each. Or try your luck at a random mystery shirt for a rediculous $2.95. (10 of those babies comes in at under $30)

Think you got skills? Submit your own design for the chance to win $350 US in cold hard cash!

Now get outta hear and grab some $6 (or $5, or $2.95) t shirts.

To get there, just use one of my conveniently placed banner ads on the sides of this page - love those guys (and gals)!!!

Geek Squad T Shirt ... Starting at $2.99

Posted on/at 12:38 PM by Web Thing

On the advice of a friend, I opened an ebay store, more for kicks than anything else. I loaded a couple of items. I must say, I am impressed with how quickly a t shirt can get viewd by simply setting it up for an ebay auction.

Anyways... I found it very intersting that this Geek Squad T Shirt has gotten the most attention.

Bids start at just $2.99. Guess I should have done a little research, because others are up for sale for $15 and up. Who knew?

Either way, it's a fun experiment.

My T Shirt Went to Vegas ...

Posted on/at 2:10 PM by Web Thing

...and all I got was this lousy blog post.

What do you think? Catchy right?

In order to rekindle my relationship with the T Shirt community, I'm considering offering a service where I get a photo taken of your tshirt at a las vegas landmark and post it to my blog.

Genius or just plain stupid?

Remains to be seen.

I'm thinking ... you send the shirt, I snap the photo. Got a pirate shirt? How about in front of Treasure Island? Something a tad off color? A strip club maybe? The oudoorsy type? How about Red Rock Canyon? Kid stuff? We have the M & M museum. Maybe in front of the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign?

You get the picture.

Just throwing it out there.

Guess I'll have to start with some of the generous offerings I have already gotten and work from there.

Comments gracefully accepted.

TV T Shirt ... and how my DVR is ruining my blog

Posted on/at 9:14 AM by Web Thing

So, I haven't written in ages. I did the math. About two weeks after I received my DVR (think tevo) from Direct TV I pretty much abondoned this blog (and loads of other things). Apparently, two weeks is how long it took me to figure out how to use it and fill it up with stuff I want to watch.
I considered posting t shirts of all my favorite T Shirts, but hey .... I that would take too long, and I have shows to watch ... so I decided to post this simple tribute to the machine that started it all ... the TV.

This simple TV T Shirt can be yours for $20 (short sleeve, or $24 long sleeve, shown) from Groovy-T.com. Just pick the color t shirt you want, and she's yours!

Now, if you don't mind I have to get back to work and get everything accomplished because I have 5 "new" episodes each of Dexter, Comedy Central Presents, Invention Nation, House MD, Southland and 3 movies that will be needing my undivided attention.

******* TV Show T Shirts **********

All signs point to this addiction only worsening as the end of Repeat Season approaches.

80's Tees; Summer Clearance Sale $4.99 and up!

Posted on/at 9:23 AM by Web Thing

It's a Snappy New Day, and a great day for a clearance sale!

Act now, while 80stees.com has this tremendous t shirt sale going on!
This vintage Mr. Rogers t shirt is just $4.99 - that less than the foot long sandwich you plan on consuming for lunch!

Prices vary at the 80's tees summer clearance sale, and while the $4.99 tees are somewhat rare, there are a plethora of goodies to be had for just 9.99, and I think some more for $12.99.

Load up. Summer is t shirt season (even thoughI wear 'em year round) At these prices, I think there retro classics are cheaper than they were 20 years ago. (That woulda been in the 80's, get it?)

Show Your State Pride with Sandia Shirts

Posted on/at 8:03 AM by Web Thing

So, I was going to wait until Sandia Shirts had a chance to print something a little closer to my heart - like a Rhode Island or a Nevada t shirt, but those folks are so darn nice I had to give them a "premature write-up".

Besides, I love Chicago! I have relatives nearby and have been out there for weddings and such, as well as some conferences (in December, of course) -so I decided I would showcase this Illinois T shirt. Land of Lincoln. And while I still have yet to read "Team of Rivals" - I have the impression that Honest Abe was a pretty good guy...

... Like the Sandia Shirt folks. All of our dealings have been quite pleasant.
I imagine you'll have a similar experience.

At this stage of the game, they have 9 state t shirts done, and have promised me many more to follow.

Get you Abe Lincoln T Shirt for just $15.99.

CafePress Summer T Shirt Sale - $15 or Less*

Posted on/at 9:23 AM by Web Thing

(on select t shirts)

It's that time of year again - the Cafepress summer sale! Yay!

Some days, it's just all about the benjamins (and the bargains)

I'll admit I see a lot of stuff at Cafepress and think "Man, if that were just a few bucks less, I'ld be all over it.

Like this one for example:

********Get Fresh with Cool T's from CafePress ********

I found this under the GEEK category at Cafepress. Now, I don't consider myself a geek in any sense of the word (although others' opinions may vary). This silly shirt just kinda struck me funny.

************Get Fresh with Cool T's from CafePress ********

OK, it's probably because after about his 54 viewing of WALL E my 3 year old now thinks he is a robot - complete with sound effects... and I really like that kid and somewhere it has manifested itself as a fondness for this particular (robot evolution) shirt.

Either way, all I'm saying is that if your looking for some new tees, no matter wehat your background, interests, hobbies or current state of mind may be, it's definately worh a look at Cafe Press, especially during this sale.

Sidenote: Michael Jackson T-Shirts

Posted on/at 11:03 AM by Web Thing

Yeah, um ... I regret to inform you, I will not be posting any Michael Jackson T-Shirts.
Nothing personal, I just wasn't a fan - so If I started posting MJ tee shirts now, I would just be a poser. Believe it or not, I try do run this t-shirt blog with a smidge of integrity.

Again, there will be no Billie Jean quips, no "mo momma say moo sah", no Thriller tshirts.
No young Michael Jackson. No older Michael Jackson. No MJ bashing, praising or otherwise.

And for those of you who still don't quite get it...

Stop sending me emails about your new "clever", "memorial", "retro", "rhinestone" t-shirt portraying, immortalizing, slandering or plaguerizing the "King of Pop"

... cuz I ain't interested. Sorry. Just not my bag.

A New Wave of Barack Obama T Shirts; Thank Goodness

Posted on/at 1:41 PM by Web Thing

OK, I must admit - I had gotten a kick the first time I saw the Obama T Shirts stating "Barack & Roll", "Barack the Casbah", and all the "hey, Obama rhymes with Mamma" t-shirts ... but let's face it ... that ship has sailed. They were merely cute, not necessarily funny or even close to cool. My personal fav? "Obama is the New Black"

Now that folks have had a little time for this whole political thing to set in, some much better Obama tee shirts are beginning to surface. I like this one just because it seems to be very well thought out. It's not in your face, not overwhelming and honestly would look pretty darn good whether it said Obama on it or not.

OK, so it definately has that "I ripped off this look from Ed Hardy" feel - but for a political t shirt, at least they took the time to rip off something cool.

This Freedom Scroll Obama T Shirt is available (in a number of colors) for between $18.45 and $22.95 - depending on the size/color combination.

Looney Toons T-Shirt - Featuring Vintage Tiny Toons

Posted on/at 9:40 AM by Web Thing

Vintage Looney Tunes Tiny Tune Tee Shirt

Featuring Buster & Babes

So, I was out looking for some vintage t shirt goodies to add to my collection and found this gem at tshirts.jbgrady.com.

While I will admit I'm more of the Classic Looney Toons age, and missed the Tiny Toon era by quite a few years - the vintage look of this t shirt really looks great. The vintage wash on the black shirt makes it more o f a charcoal grey and I really love the distressed logo, giving it real classic appeal.

Keep in mind this is a "slim fit" t ... (I think because back in the 70's people were thinner - before corn syrup hit the shelves) ... but that's another story for another time ... so you may want to order this baby a size or two (it's 100% cotton, so expect further shrinkage) larger than you normally would.

Get your Looney Toons Vintage Tiny Toon T Shirt for just $17.95 at tshirts.jbgrady.com.
